I have to say that your work has taken my breath away, I have always dreamed of doing the kind of stuff you do. I would love to be a special effects artist but like you said before it is not in very high demand. But i was wondering did you learn all of this by trial and error, schooling, youtube? because i would really love to know how to do the stuff you do. Any tips?
Just dropping by to say i love your work. It is amazing to see someone who actually does something that i hopefully plan on doing. I was wondering how the demand in the work field is for special effect artists? Because i plan on going to the Cinema Make up school in los angelas myself.
Hi.. I just now saw your post. I am not doing any makeup fx- most of my work now is a hobby (costuming, sculpting). I can tell you this- Steve Wang said that cgi is making work more scarce for fx artists. I was trying to get to hollywood and get work with a studio and he told me it is slow there now. SO choose your careers wisely.
